The Pataskala Haunted Forest is a volunteer ran haunt. All proceeds go to the Lions Club of Pataskala Charitable Foundation. (More Info Here) We are always looking for more volunteers to help with many activities. From other Lions, to Scout groups, to individuals we welcome you. We have volunteers that work 1 Night to the whole Season. IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO JOIN OUR TEAM so come join the fun!
Scare Actors
There are so many different roles for scare acting, from a simple jump scare to fully fledged scare sequences. Don’t know what that means? That’s ok! We can teach you, and we continue to help our actors grow throughout the scare season.
What you should know is:
You don’t need to have experience to volunteer.
We have costumes and makeup team to get you ready for your victims.
Be open to new ideas! We have different scenes, and we encourage switching it up if you want to try something new.
Know that seniority might play a part in casting. We will always have a place for you! But some roles may go to people that do have experience, or, might be a better fit for that kind of scare. Being willing to pitch in where needed is greatly appreciated.
Finally, have fun! There’s nothing quite like getting your first scream.
Forest Guides
Acting not your thing? Then you can be a forest guide. Lead groups into the darkness and if they all don’t make it back, we don’t judge. Great for 1 day or 1 weekend Volunteers as training is done each day.
What you should know is:
You don’t need to have experience to volunteer.
No costumes or makeup required. Just Comfortable shoes and wiliness to have fun.
Great for teens needing Volunteer Hours or adult looking to get involved with the haunt.
Finally, have fun! There’s nothing quite like getting your first scream.
